Meta launched a new AI model called Muse Spark 1.1 this week. The model is built for agentic coding, which means it can plan and complete tasks with very little human help.

With Muse Spark 1.1, Meta wants to compete with similar AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic. The new model can use tools, operate a computer, and understand both text and images, which makes it multimodal.

Meta will charge $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens. This pricing is a little higher than Anthropic's Claude Haiku 4.5 and OpenAI's newest model.
