On July 21, 2026, Google released three new AI models called Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and a security-focused model named Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber.
Gemini 3.6 Flash is designed to be Google's workhorse model. It uses about 17 percent fewer output tokens than the previous version, which means it can save companies money. The model is built for coding, everyday office work, and tasks that combine text, images, and other data.
